This notice explains how unpackstays ltd. handles information submitted through the operator and corporate housing waitlists. These waitlists are for Canadian properties and housing needs; submitters may be located anywhere.
Information collected
The operator form collects your name, email, optional phone number and listing link, city, number of units, property management software, and whether your units are pet-friendly. The corporate form collects your name, work email, company, housing need, target cities, and any optional details you provide. Both forms record your waitlist and Canadian housing confirmations and the time you gave consent.
How we use it
We use these details to manage the waitlists, review operator and housing needs, and contact you about relevant launch updates or your inquiry. Joining a waitlist is not a booking, reservation, or guarantee of a Founding Operator spot.
Service providers and storage
The website and its submission endpoint are hosted by Vercel. Waitlist records are stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database. The database region is selected for the project and may be outside Canada. Confirmation emails are sent through Resend, which processes your name, email address, and confirmation message for email delivery. These providers process information to provide their hosting, database, and email services.
Consent, retention, and requests
By checking the consent box and submitting a form, you agree that we may use the information for the purposes above and contact you about waitlist updates. We retain your active waitlist details until you withdraw consent or request removal. You can withdraw consent, request access or correction, or ask us to delete your information by emailing info@unpackstays.com.
We send an automatic confirmation after a new waitlist signup. Waitlist submissions are not bookings or reservations.
